Blackjack
About the guide

For people who
care about the game.

Blackjack takes minutes to learn. Understanding its decisions, rules and probabilities is a much longer, and more interesting, conversation.

What this reference is for

We publish explanations you can use: how a hand works, why a strategy chart changes with the rules, what insurance actually buys, and how to compare tables before playing. Worked examples make the reasoning visible. The glossary gives unfamiliar terms somewhere to land.

The library moves from foundations to decisions, then to rule variants, odds, card counting, world destinations, history and table craft. You can read it in that order or follow the links around a specific question. The strategy chart, the hand pages and the practice trainer keep the reference connected to actual choices.

Who publishes it

This is the Blackjack World Tour website. It is affiliated with the BWT social casino app, listed as Blackjack by TapTapBoom Ltd. We explain our own app separately from the web training tool and real-money casino play. Artwork from the game appears on this site as illustration and does not describe the rules of any particular table in the app.

Rules before recommendations

Every training decision uses one stated six-deck S17 profile. Articles identify when they discuss other rules. A surrender guide is useful even though the trainer has no surrender button; it is useful only if that distinction stays clear.

The training tables, hand pages and lookup share a versioned strategy engine, checked against an independent multi-deck reference. Explanations link to sources. Mathematical examples distinguish exact arithmetic, published figures and simplified models; a worked model is not a measured return for the app.

How we write destination guides

Our Las Vegas shortlist and the world tour guides draw on linked operator, regulator and reference sources and state when they were checked. We distinguish what a casino publishes from what still needs confirming at the table. We have not conducted live floor surveys. Table availability and rules can vary within a property, so the exact table remains the final check.

Quoting and reuse

Text on this site may be quoted with attribution to Blackjack World Tour. Each guide carries key facts, a short FAQ and its sources so that a quotation can be checked. A plain-text index is published at /llms.txt and the full text at /llms-full.txt; basic strategy is available as JSON.

A reference that can be corrected

Articles include author, date, sources and editorial status. This local edition remains an editorial draft for owner review before publication. If you spot a problem, identify the hand, the rules and the passage; those details make a correction useful.
