Start with the table
The official App Store listing describes tutorials, talking dealers, destinations, statistics, unlockable decks and daily, weekly and monthly challenges. These give the game structure around its central pleasure: playing the hand in front of you.
If you are new to blackjack, begin with the tutorials and learn the difference between a hard total, a soft total and a pair. Watch how an ace changes value as cards arrive. Understanding that one detail makes the rest of the game easier to follow.
A useful way to learn while you play
- Read the rules before borrowing a chart. Find out which rules apply to the game you are playing. A table that hits soft 17 is different from one that stands.
- Choose one question for a session. You might focus on soft 18, doubling hard 11, or playing pairs. Give yourself something specific to notice.
- Revisit a decision afterward. Read the relevant guide and use the hand pages for its stated profile. A winning result does not prove the decision was correct.
- Practise the difficult category. Our browser trainer lets you isolate soft hands, pairs or hard totals instead of waiting for them to appear in a full game.
Use the right tool for the moment
| You want to… | Start here |
|---|---|
| Play full blackjack hands with virtual chips | The BWT iOS app |
| Understand the sequence of a round | Blackjack rules |
| Look up a six-deck S17 decision | The strategy chart |
| Practise one category with feedback | The web trainer |
| Prepare for a physical casino table | Casino etiquette |
The web trainer has its own rules
The trainer is a separate educational tool. It uses six decks, dealer stands on soft 17, double after split, no surrender and a US dealer-blackjack check. It asks for one decision per hand and does not deal out a complete round or settle wagers.
Those rules are visible on the chart and trainer pages. We do not present that profile as a verified description of every BWT table. Read how rule variations change a game before applying advice across tables.
